In December 2005 we visited Tunisia, where we spent nearly 3 weeks. Tunisia is a very interesting country, especially when you get away from the capital of Tunis and move inland, away from the beach resorts. Highlights of this trip included:

• Riding a scooter through the olive groves on the island of Jerba.
• Seeing the Saharra Festival in Douz.
• Riding the Lezard Rouge train through the mountains north of Touzer.
• Eating hot donuts in Sidi Bou Said
